Oh and thank you for all the comments on Miyagi. He's really great! He did pee in his kennel last night but I think 8 hours might have just been too much now that he's eating and drinking. Not sure how to remedy that other than letting him have run of the laundry room with some pee pads on the floor for accidents? I don't want him to have to sleep in his own piss. Ewww.
He's coming to work with me today. Hopefully that'll go Ok.

That Tylerism really is TOO cute. And I'm sure he'll learn not to pee (give him a few weeks) - that initial training can be a wee bit rough (no pun intended). ;)
How fun that water can be such an entertaining science experiment. I have been thinking about making some colored ice cubes with food coloring and then dropping them in Hendrix’s bath tub since he has become a water fanatic lately...maybe Tyler would like that too!
My little Alexis is always wanting to make popsicles - mostly in the summer. I bought the kids a smoothy maker over the summer and they were all into that! Cute story.

My kids love icy experiments too - ice cubs in the bath are always a big hit for mine! We also make snowballs in the winter (if we get snow - not looking so good this warm, dry winter) and save them to play with some hot summer day.
Oh, and steer clear of pee pads. It's a bad habit that you'll want (have?!) to break later. Make sure his kennel is small enough to make him secure but not so large that he has room to do his business. He'll learn. =) Our bully made one overnight mistake in her kennel and never did it again.
Yay for kids and fun with water in various states of freezing.

Boys have great experimental ideas...my Jacob asked me recently if he could freeze apple juice. He wanted to see if it tasted like his favorite sour apple popsicles. He wasn't as impressed with the whole thing as your Tyler. Heh. As long as the experiments do not involve or contain any critters, I am game!
Don't worry, the puppy will figure out the peeing thing. It is always rough at first.
