Homesick

Tyler gets headaches in the car when we drive for long distances.  I can't tell if this is worse when he isn't wearing his glasses, which he often forgets at home.  I always got carsick if I ever tried to read in the car, but that doesn't seem to bother him.  He seems to have figured out what the problem is, though.  

The other day, as we were headed back home from a long day of running errands in preparation for a dinner party we are hosting tonight, he announced that his head was hurting and he thought he'd figured out why.

Because it always happens when we've been gone or in the car for a long time, he thinks he gets headaches because he's homesick.

I wonder if he'll always feel homesick when he's away from home.
