Quick Update

I just heard from Becky, my rep at Alternative Conceptions and was told that because of the delay in getting our contract signed, the transplant is getting pushed back until September! That's good and bad... Good because it means I can party like it's 1999 for my 30th birthday, which is September 2nd for those of you who don't know. And also good because it buys me a few more Mom's night outs with my girls. And also good because I can enjoy vacation with my family a little more as far as alcoholic beverages are concerned. Yes, clearly I have a problem when my three good things revolve around drinking. Hmm.

The bad? Well I'll be pregnant during some of the hotter months - my due date will be in July. Ick. I hate being pregnant in the summer. Also, it will be a little longer until we can start getting rid of our debt... but that's not a huge deal as we're paying our bills. We just don't want to have to pay any longer than we have to on those darn high interest rates. And I'm sure the IP's (Intended Parents) don't want to have to wait a couple more months to have a child - but I guess that's the way the cookie crumbles.

I'm more happy than sad about it getting moved... Looking forward to enjoying the summer with a margarita in one hand and a mojito in the other. Hee hee :)

Seriously, I am not an alcoholic, I swear. Just want to make sure I get it all out of my system before I get pregnant.

No really, I'm not.

Right?

No, really you are not an alcoholic or else that would mean I have serious issues. So, NO! You are not! I am so glad that you get to party for your birthday. That is awesome. Looks like I may get pg before you. We will see how the process goes for me. Maybe, we will both get to party for your birthday. It would be a little crazy if I got pg first considering you started first...not by a whole lot though. It sounds like all of this is a positive thing. I strongly believe everything happens for a reason but being pg during the summer would suck.
