Well Happy Friday... It's cold here in Colorado - our highs this weekend are about 7. Brrr! It's been a pretty good week for the most part. I am all caught up at work after missing a couple days. I now just have to catch up with work around the house... which should be a blast. I did manage to take a couple pics to add (as you might have already noticed). The first of which just tickled me - this cat is a strange one already, but does this look comfortable to you?? I thought it looked a little painful.
Tyler didn't have school today, so thankfully other than shoveling the driveway, we can hibernate in the house where it's warm today. Shawn had to venture out, and deal with icy roads, but he made it and arrived after taking the past couple days off due to a "sore throat" to find that his boss wants to give him some more responsibility. It doesn't equal a raise but it does give him the opportunity to earn overtime if he needs it, to get the extra work done. I'm not sure yet what he'll be doing, but I think he appreciated the confidence they have in him.

Here are a couple pictures of the boys eating. You can probably tell Tyler's haircut is *ahem* home made. I'm not the best hair cutter, but hey, I'm free. Seeing as how his hair was in his eyes and he was begging to shave it off - not in the dead of winter, Honey - I figured I'd better give it a shot. Hopefully he's happy. :)
We did have some bad news this week. My almost 27 year old brother had a minor stroke. I guess he had a bad headache one day while (thankfully) his wife was home and then half of his body went numb. They went to the E.R., who weren't able to determine anything but did refer him to a neurologist. There is a possibility that it was a seizure also, but it looks more like a stroke. I can not even fathom my little brother having a stroke. I thought that was something that happened to old people. Not to young fathers and husbands. I'm pretty worried about him, as is (understandably) the rest of my family. Hopefully once they are done with the battery of tests they have him scheduled for, they will have some answers as to why this happened and what to do to prevent it from happening again.
So other than that, nothing much else is new around here. We're getting ready for the game on Sunday, which for me entails cleaning the house and figuring out what we're going to have to eat. I think we'll have a pretty calm weekend.

That happened to Dan when he had a severe migraine. He didn't have any numbness but there was a spot on his MRI that showed stroke damage. Pretty scary stuff. I hope your brother is okay.
Your boys are so adorable. I couldn't tell that Tyler's hair cut was done by you. You did better than I would have!
Stay warm!
